About Me
As an artist, I do not have a preferred material or method. Instead, I allow my current experiences and feelings to guide my process. There is usually an introspective and self-healing aspect to my work, which allows me to put challenging experiences behind me – to move forward and to grow. Childhood memories and nostalgia are often present within my artwork. My current practice focuses on reconstructing memories and evoking feelings. This is often about people who have in some way affected my life. Most recently I have been working with installation, sculpture and audio. I enjoy creating delicate and fragile sculptural pieces, which reflect the ephemeral nature of my young memories. Inclusivity is another important aspect of my artwork. I embed accessibility into my art through creating sound pieces as part of the artwork, and having tactile elements to it. For parts of my work that are too fragile to touch, touch plates are often available.

I also facilitate creative arts workshops. More information about this can be found in the 'Workshops' sections.
